This Week In Doctor Who PBS - March 27, 2010

Note - TWIDW is undergoing some revamping. To try to balance out the sections, I am moving the Sarah Jane listings in with PBS next week. The section will have a new title, but I have not decided on it yet. The podcast section comes back next week, but will be grouped with the schedules for the K-9 series as This Week In Doctor Who - Unlicensed.
 
Most of the stats I usually have here for the PBS section should be back up next week, possibly reorganized. One thing to note is that the end date for the American Public TV contract for the first David Tennant series of episodes (aka Series 2, aka Series 1000, aka Series 2006, aka Series 28, aka even I'm getting tired of the letters aka) is March 31, 2010. So don't expect to see those episodes again for at least a little while on the public TV stations. Hopefully the episodes from Series 2005 and 2006 are now being offered to stations by BBC Worldwide Americas, the syndicator for Series 2007, 2008, and the classic run from 1963 to 1989.
 
Because of the production time for writing TWIDW, I am slimming the information for the PBS stations, at least for now. If we are dealing with a statewide network, I am going to assume that if you are in the state, you know how to find the local station. Local programming is now common enough on DirecTV and Dish Network that it should be similarly easy to find. If there is a great demand for the information I am removing, I can try to bring it back, but for now I'd rather use the ink for the schedule details.
